The Toshiba Dynapad "Pen Computer" was announced in November of 1992. It weighed 3.3 pounds, contained a 25 MHz AMD processor 386SXLV (low voltage), and had a built-in 40 Mb hard drive. The battery life was about 2 - 3 hours. Software was either Microsoft's Windows for Pen Computing or GO Corporation's PenPoint. It measured 10.6 inches long by 8.3 inches wide, by 1.6 inches deep. The suggested retail price was $3,499 (January 1993). |
