Franklin ACE 2200 (1987/1988)

This was the last effort of the Franklin company in the Apple clone arena. It was offered at the same time as the Apple IIgs. This was the best looking machine that Franklin ever offered. It is pictured with a Franklin Monitor and Franklin Joystick.

The 2200 sported built in drives, 128K RAM expandable to a megabyte with the proper card. It had a detached keyboard just like the IIgs. It could run most of the Apple software of that epoch and had advanced graphic and sound capabilities.

This model was produced in very limited quantities and is quite rare.
