BBC Master Microcomputer (1986)

The Master was the successor of the BBC B+, and was fully backward compatible, it was built round the 65C02 processor an updated version of the 6502A as used in the BBC B. The master had a expanded keyboard with a numeric keypad

The BBC Master came with an updated version of BBC BASIC (version 4)and DFS (Advanced Disk Filling System) as well as a built in word processor and spread sheet.

The master was released early in 1986 and came in several versions, ranging from 499 to the more expensive Master compact at 599 (UK).
