BBC Master Microcomputer (1986)

The Master was the successor of the BBC B+, and was fully backward compatible, it was built round the 65C02 processor an updated version of the 6502A as used in the BBC B. The master had a expanded keyboard with a numeric keypad

The BBC Master came with an updated version of BBC BASIC (version 4)and DFS (Advanced Disk Filling System) as well as a built in word processor and spread sheet.

The master was released early in 1986 and came in several versions, ranging from £499 to the more expensive Master compact at £599 (UK).
